Could it be? I mean could it really be true? Jodeci are you making a come back? Yes, you've heard right. As I am writing this up for you right now. News has come to light that Jodeci is in the studio with the Super producer that is Timberland and they making a comeback album right now.
"People who follow Timbaland from day one, I met with [Jodeci member] DeVante Swing and I'm helping on the new Jodeci album, just for y'all," Tim,
For all of those who missed the hysteria in the mid-1990s, Jodeci is two sets of brothers that eventually came together to form Jodeci, who is from the city of Charlotte, in North Carolina.
It seems that the cat was let out of the bag when Timberland revealed via a conversation with his fans over a live stream session that there was truth in the rumour that he was working on a new Jodeci album.
Within the conversation, he mentioned that he met up with DeVante Swing (Music producer of Jodeci) and details were revealed. (Please click on the youtube link below to hear the conversation).
It seems there is now truth to the rumor that Jodeci will be releasing a comeback album later in the year of 2014. This comeback or reunion for Jodeci, call it what you want is also a special time for Timberland.
There has always been a running debate over which is the best album that the group released so far at the height of their fame. It seems it always comes down to these two albums:
The album that is Forever My Lady is just Jodeci's full stop. However, the album called "Diary of a Mad Band saw Timberland, Ginuwine, Redman, and Missey Elliot being asked aboard to help out and inject their ideas into the release.
So it is pleasing to hear that Jodeci will be coming back to us with their fourth studio album later this year. I wondered what the album will be called though. Hmmmm….
However, I've got to ask which was your favorite album from the group (Jodeci) so far? Do't be shy please tell me. In fact, why don't you vote and tell me rich here?
So far these are the 3 albums that were released by the band.
- Forever my lady. (1991)
- Diary of a Mad Band. (1993)
- The Show, The After Party, The Hotel (1995).
