Michael Jackson still earning the big bucks well after his death - in 2011
The man once called the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen is still making a lot of money, and I mean a lot of money. However, he has been in the news more recently via the court case against Dr.Conrad Murray.
The whole world is now waiting on the final outcome of Murray's defense during his involuntary manslaughter trial at the death of singer Michael Jackson, which is being held at the Los Angeles Superior Court in Los Angeles, USA. Dr. Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty and faces up to four years in prison and the loss of his medical license if convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's death.
Michael Jackson has passed away two years ago now at the age of 50. However, he always seems to be in the news these days, just as it was during his life. We now learn that his earning power still keeps bulldozing it’s all the way to the top.

Jackson was estimated to have accumulated $170 million in earnings over the last past year alone.
In fact, between October 2010 and Oct 2011, his estate brought in alone $275 million.
Not only does that make him the top-earning dead celebrity it also places him as the second highest-earning pop star (dead or alive), right behind U2.
According to MTV News, Jackson's high posthumous revenue comes from music sales and his share in the Sony/ATV catalog.
The figure of $170 million may sound like a lot to most of us but it's a big jump down from what he made last year, which was $275 million.
Aside from his storied catalog, the King of Pop's estate also benefited from the Cirque du Soleil theatrical production 'Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour,' which is based on his life and began on the 2nd October 2011. is now on the road.
